Area of Legal Practice
Colin's practice is devoted to estate planning, trusts and probate law. He serves a wide range of clientele for matters ranging from simple wills, powers of attorney and healthcare directives to complex estate plans and post-death estate administration. He also focuses on trust and probate litigation.
Colin is admitted to the California Bar and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern and Central Districts of California.

Legal Background
After receiving his J.D. in 2006, Colin served as a law clerk for the Honorable Walter L. Carpeneti of the Alaska Supreme Court.
From 2007 to 2008, Colin worked for Heller Ehrman LLP in its San Francisco office, where he practiced general commercial litigation, with a focus on securities litigation. From 2008 to 2011, Colin worked in the Palo Alto office of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP where he practiced securities litigation and consumer class action defense.
Colin joined Kelley & Farren in 2011.
Personal
Colin moved with his wife and daughter from San Francisco to San Anselmo in early 2011. He enjoys cooking, volleyball, and cycling.
